This represents a great advantage for their business model, as they can attract visitors during the colder months, when outdoor parks are closed due to cold weather.
In addition to operating during the off-season, indoor parks are also evolving and now offer more unique themed attractions and experiences to attract visitors. Some of them are designed to simulate a tropical environment, with warm temperatures and exotic decor, allowing visitors to enjoy a vacation experience in the middle of winter.

Considered one of the largest indoor waterparks in the world, with an area of 66,000 m², it is owned by the Malaysian company Tanjong plc, which acquired the complex in 2018.
This waterpark is in Krausnick, Germany, was opened in 2004 and is located inside a structure that was design to be a zeppelin hangar. Located in Erding, Germany, Therme Erding is the world's largest indoor waterpark, covering an area of over 180,000 m² and offering a wide variety of water attractions for all ages.
This park, owned by Wund Holding GmbH, features numerous water attractions such as wave pools, high-speed water slides, fast rivers, and thermal pools. It also has saunas, Turkish baths, and a wide variety of spa treatments and massages.
Therme Erding also offers various accommodation options, such as themed hotels and luxury suites with direct access to the water park. Additionally, the park offers a wide selection of restaurants and shops for visitors.
The indoor water park at Europa Park is in Rust, Germany. It opened in 2019 and covers an area of over 32,000 square meters, divided into nine themed areas and 25 attractions.
One of its main attractions is the "Wave Pool," a pool with artificial waves up to 1.5 meters high. It also features several high-speed water slides, a calmer wave pool, a slow river, a water play area for children, and several saunas and relaxation areas for adults.
